Krispy Kreme Is Serving Up Four Patriotic Donuts to Enjoy All July 4th Weekend

What would a holiday be without Krispy Kreme creating specialty donuts? For a limited time, you can enjoy the shop’s Fourth of July collection that features four red, white, and blue treats.

While this year’s patriotic donuts look similar to last year’s, they are quite different. From the Kreme fillings to the festive toppings, a dozen Freedom Ring, Patriotic Sprinkled Ring, Strawberry Shortcake, and Patriotic Eagle donuts will be the most appropriate bites at any barbecue this weekend. Plus, they come in limited-edition star-spangled boxes to set the tone right away.

“This Fourth of July, many Americans are going to celebrate with family and friends not just our independence but also emerging freedom from the pandemic. We’re making these gatherings the sweetest parties of the summer with patriotic doughnuts and a fireworks-worthy deal,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release.

You can get the Fourth of July donut collection at Krispy Kreme from June 28 to July 4. To make it even better, the shop is offering buy one get one free on dozens, which means that when you buy any dozen donuts, you’ll get a dozen Original Glazed for free. That deal is available all week, so there’s no reason to patriotically treat yourself.
