Nothing screams summertime more than a fruity cocktail, and Bacardí is making it easier to achieve just that. The rum brand’s new Tropical variety is hitting shelves just in time for National Piña Colada Day to bring us all that taste of the Caribbean.
Bacardí Tropical starts with a white rum base, as do all the brand’s flavored rums, and is infused with notes of juicy pineapple, creamy coconut, and sweet guava. The spirit is gluten-free, has 100 calories per ounce and half, and doesn’t contain artificial sweeteners. You can find the limited-edition flavor at select liquor stores, bars, and restaurants nationwide, as well as on Drizly, for a suggested retail price of $12.99 per 750-milliliter bottle.
“At BACARDí, we know that flavored rum is the fastest growing segment in the category. To give people a delicious new flavored rum option and get them excited about what is sure to be an unforgettable summer, we created BACARDí Tropical,” Maria Galis, marketing director, BACARDí for North America, said in a press release.
This is Bacardí’s eighth flavor innovation that’s currently available in the U.S., which joins varieties including Coconut, Lime, Limón, Pineapple, Dragonberry, Raspberry, and Mango.
