Now — for the first time ever — Carvel is releasing a new flavor of the beloved pieces: Churro Crunchies!
A regular churro is made of fried dough that’s covered in cinnamon sugar, so that sweet flavor is sure to add something special to your next ice cream cake. The flavor is actually perfect for summertime, since it reminds us of carnivals and spending time outdoors. The Churro Crunchies are a limited-edition offering at Carvel shoppes and food delivery platforms starting today, so don’t be surprised when it makes its sad exit.

“If we could bottle up the warm, happy feelings people experience in the summer and turn that into ice cream treats, it would taste just like our new Churro flavor,” Nicolle DuBose, vice president and chief marketing officer, Carvel, said in a press release. “This new flavor, available in so many delicious treats and a new crunchie flavor, will have fans reminiscing about summer memories made at state fairs, carnivals, and strolls down the boardwalk — while creating new memories for years to come.”
As much as we love the classic chocolate Crunchies, the limited-edition Churro Crunchies sound like a treat we simply can’t refuse.
