It’s a good time to be a peanut butter and jelly sandwich fan, because Nestlé Toll House has taken the classic lunchtime bite and turned it into the cookie dough. This is just the kind of treat that will automatically send us back to our childhood lunchroom days.

The new PB&J Cookie Dough consists of peanut butter cookie dough that’s filled with sweet strawberry-flavored pieces. OK, so maybe it’s not exactly peanut butter and jelly, but the Nestlé Toll House crew has found a way to bring the flavors together in a way that makes sense for a cookie. And we’re ready to get our nostalgia on.

You won’t have to wait long to pop these precut cookie dough pieces in the oven, because they’re rolling out at grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide beginning in August 2021, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. Each package has a suggested retail price of $2.99 and has 20 pieces that are ready to be placed on a baking sheet and baked.

The only sad part about this launch is that it’ll only be available for a limited time. Since the packaging is covered in leaves, it’s fair to assume that it’ll be in the refrigerated aisle through the fall months. We can already tell these are going to be tasty, so any chance you want to reconsider, Nestlé Toll House?
